The only one who makes a decent wage in a Walmart is the store manager; the rest are on bare subsistence pay. That's why they stick to small towns for their stores.

What you say is not true, however, why in hell would Walmart pay more to these people than they're worth as employees? Walmart is in the busines of trying to sell stuff for the least money they can and still make a profit. That is their business model. It would be stupid for them to blow what they save on volume purchasing and warehousing by overpaying their unskilled workers. Pretty obvious you have never run a business.


I understand.....that's why you don't see them in the bigger cities because they would have considerable trouble hiring good people at these low wages.
