NOW, i think you missed the largest problem of all - special interest *own* government officials. health care pays millions to be a special interest.

government officials work more for health care than they do for citizens.

since we don't have a society that revolts every decade or so, the sociopaths in government no longer care about us other than to get elected. once in, they work for the oligarchs... effectively a two headed, one party system.

the damage that fox and msnbc do is primarily to keep the ignorati fighting against the ignorati so the oligarchs can loot all of the ignorati's wealth.

the health care bill is being written by the health care and insurance industry - after all, government works for them.
