I got malaria in Indonesia. By the time I got to Singapore I was in very bad shape, hot and cold fever, I thought I was dying. Went to the doctor, he took one look and said "Malaria". Put me in hospital, dosed me with drugs, and in a week I was cured, although it took quite a while to get my strength back. In eastern Turkey I was becoming very weak, went to the hospital in Trabzon, the doctor took one look and said "Hepatitis" (picked up in Afghanistan). Back to hospital. I like doctors, they have done good things for me. I like decisions made on the basis of scientific knowledge.
