A very many years ago, while still a teen, I rode on the back of a brand new BSA over the top of Berthoud Pass, just west of Denver. There is NO better way to enjoy the scenery than from a bike. Unfortunately, upon returning to Denver later in the day, we were totally run over by a young lady who made a left turn as she approached us in an intersection. Put both of us in the hospital, permanently crippling my friend and totaled the bike with less than 500 miles on it. I never rode again.
