Being for or against something is not necessarily DOING anything.

I wish these people would stop giving themselves credit for supposedly good intentions.

Then again, if it works in the inverse, I think I'll pile some demerits on the so-called progressives for their lack of transparency and behind closed doors mechanism for drafting legislation. That kind of secrecy smacks of evil doing.

Of course, now they're coming right out and basically saying that anyone who opposes them is un-American.

More demerits!
