Exactly! Read the bill.

Business as usual is the understanding that every congressman has their district to please, so the earmarks are accepted as quid pro quo - give me this for my district and I'll vote for the bill - whatever's in the bill. They only care about their paragraphs.

Will be interesting to see how they scramble to offset the angry mobs. Calling them names is not going to get them votes when they come up for reelection.

Hillary's bill went down in flames - it had been worked on for a long time - not a couple of months. The protests about it were hardly a ripple compared to what's going on now.

Either it's going to be a watered down version or it will go back to committee and languish until there's another urgent story in the news cycle to distract the public.

I need to read Alinsky's book - the game plan is probably there.
