ValueOptions(R) Awards Coordination of Benefits and Overpayment Services Contract to HMS finance.yahoo.com Tuesday August 11, 2009, 9:35 am EDT NEW YORK, Aug. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- HMS today announced that it had been awarded a contract by ValueOptions®, a behavioral health care company headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, to perform coordination of benefits and overpayment services for ValueOptions® at risk Plans, which cover approximately 1.5 million Medicaid members in five states. HMS will identify ValueOptions® Medicaid members that have other healthcare coverage, and recover overpayments from liable third parties. "This contract extends HMS's reach into the behavioral health market, where we can play a significant role in helping Medicaid control the escalating costs of mental health services," said Christina Dragonetti, HMS Executive Vice President for Managed Care Services.
