If you believe we are in for protracted deflation, then yes I believe gold would not be a good investment. It went up in the 30s because of a government declaration which I doubt will ever be replicated.


Ben and the Fed (and the administration) know all about what was done in the '30s, and Ben hasn't varied much from the '30s playbook he's been operating from - except that he has the volume turned up higher.
