To All: I have an account w/ schwab and Quick & Reilly. Schwab was worthless during the high volume days both on the phone and internet trading. On the other hand Q & R computer trading got me in quick at 3 1/16 and a quick confirmation, other trades with them tuesday morning were also handled correctly. The reason for this is that when your computer dials in to them it dosen't go thru the internet, but rather dials directly to them. Things sometimes were a tad slower then usual, but I was logged on all morning with few problems. Any way, thought if some of you were looking for a new broker this info might help. LOL Sincerely: C.
