In fact, why don't you run for congress on a platform of getting rid of medicare and social securty. Both government run programs.

NO one else will run on htat platform, so you will have it to yourself.See how many people agree with you.

You want your freedom back, see how many people agree with you about getting rid of government run medicare and social security.

You wil come in dead last on that platform, so where is the disconnect?

"The constitution does not restrict duly elected officials from making public policy. The VA and medicare are government run health care programs and fully within the scope of the constitution."

Amendment 10 - Powers of the States and People. Ratified 12/15/1791. Note

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

nothing about national health care in the constitution, that's a states issue, same with cap and trade.
