But I do admit to vaguely remembering Doris singing it when I was wee little babe.

That she did. My first trip to Radio City Music Hall - I saw the Rockettes followed by the Doris Day/Rod Taylor movie The Glass Bottom Boat (where she sang that song while bobbing along in her dad's glass bottom boat).

My favorite thing about the trip? (I was a kid!) .. Going to the Automat! My first exposure to "fast food"!
