I see you favor continuing the cold war. Though presumably w/o us as a member of NATO. NATO means Europe looks to us to defend them. So they wouldn't "take care of" anything in the ME. They don't have the military to do so. So leaving Iraq to Europe means severing our NATO ties for if we don't we bear their defense and they'll continue to do nothing to defend themselves.

Re. Russia - if we're going to tear up the NATO treaty, why do we need to worry about Russia? They're a threat to our NATO allies, but if they're not our allies, they're not a threat to us.

Re. China buying debt. Purchases of Treasury bonds aren't negotiated by the President. So neither Bush nor any other President went to China to borrow money.
