That must have been scary! My folks took all of us over Loveland, and Monarch, plus the Million Dollar Highway several times when we were small, but old enough to remember that sometimes we just had to be scared all by ourselves, and not say anything....Those Colorado mountain passes are really something in the wintertime. Monarch - over 11,000 feet
