I think they already know the backlash is made of Americans of all parties. What they want to do is pass it anyway and make apologies down the road. They know such a huge expense of the government side and trashing of the private sector insurance companies will be something that cannot be easily reversed.

They are on a fence, wondering if they will lose elections because of their deaf ears.

Obama hasn't a care about healthcare. He is on an ego trip and certain dem head cases like Bob Beckel(sp?) repeat it. He actually reads it straight from his teleprompter and I can't believe he keeps a straight face. He says Obama is the greatest president since FDR.

That is what Obama wants to be called. He works furiously to makes changes and adds them to the list. Once he surpasses FDR, he figures will be known as the greatest president ever.

Of course thinking people know FDR did little remarkable except the confiscation of peoples property. How a government could not only remove itself from the gold standard, but demand people turn in their gold coinage at face value and not allow the ownership of gold by the public is just unfathomable.
