How is he gonna cut cost when the number of people covered by medicare is constantly increasing and will increase even more quickly as the baby boomers age? You are not going to reduce gross cost but you should be able to reduce "unit cost". If the current "system" hadn't produced medical inflation at double the rate of wage growth for multiple decades we wouldn't be in this situation. Are you 'for' the status quo? If so you are 'for' bankrupting the country.
