I agree with you that Schwab's saying that their computers were not at fault is bull. I was able to access everyone else in a timely manner. Having a T1 connection thru work I am constantly on the internet and was not able to log onto Schwab but could log on anywhere else that I wanted to.

Another point that really burns me is the fact that once I was able to log on and make a trade, Schwab decided to charge me at their $0.09/share rate for $5 and under stocks. Even though when I bought the stock I got the better rate. Needless to say, I didn't make the trade and held the stock instead (I was looking for some free cash to buy some good plays, instead I watched them rebound the next day).

On this point I feel ripped off (commission deal), especially since I make several trades a month, with $1,000's going to their coffers annually!!!!
