Having had a look at the CHU website, similar to SQM (the large Chilean lithium producer), at current prices, potash appears to be the primary commodity and lithium carbonate would be a by-product. Also, POT has invested heavily in SQM for its potash production. So far, CHU is the only junior I have found with K-L brines.
The hard rock lithium plays would be much higher cost lithium carbonate producers, but a few will no doubt act as a good "call" on higher lithium carbonate prices. I would prefer the ones that had Ta (and maybe some rare earths?) as either a by product or primary commodity. Have any ideas or suggestions?
