I think it is easy to understand some of the most blatant sections of the Bill. I believe that is why so many people are upset. They can see how the plan forces them off their private policies. Virtually nobody can have private insurance that doesn't change wording or fees yearly. That knocks you off the plan.

Then consider how many states will simply turn over their healthcare to the Federal Program. It won't take 10 yrs to destroy the system. It will take 2 years at the most and the private healthcare companies will go belly up.

They can also read and understand that the straw man created by Obama and his ilk. They have directed the discussion of end of life care by referencing the section that allows for reimbursement of the counseling and creation of a living will.

Of course that isn't the section that turns over to the Secretary the decision of actual treatment, determination of efficacy and denial of certain procedures (to be determined by the Secretary) to be ineffective or objectionable by the Secretary after the Secretary has determined your "quality of life".

Those I believe are the greater sticking points for the average citizen. Foe the small and mid range employer there are of course greater concerns.
