Full Press Release!
FastComm FRAD and WEB.router™ Products Pass Certification Tests at ITS/TestMark for
use on Concert; a joint venture between BT and MCI

STERLING, Virginia, October 29 1997--FastComm Communications Corp. today announced that its EtherFRAD™, RingFRAD™, MonoFRAD™ and WEB.router™ products meet the Concert Frame Relay "Level B" UNI Annex D protocol requirements. Concert
is a joint venture between British Telecom (BT) and MCI. The FastComm products were certified on the basis of tests completed successfully by ITS/TestMark Laboratories of Kentucky, USA.

The announcement strengthens FastComm's launch of a targeted network access product line on a global basis. FastComm gives Carriers and their customers a superior Customer Premise (CPE)product for use in their popular managed network service offerings. In addition, these products offer Integrators a "best-of-breed" platform for combining legacy and LAN applications, as customers demand better solutions to the problem of integrating legacy applications into their LAN-driven
Intranets and Extranets.

With industry-leading LAN+Legacy™ application support, advanced features as MaximumPRIORITY™ multi-stream prioritization, FastRATE™ adaptive congestion and CIR control, FramePROTECT™ data protection for mission critical applications, and optional integral T1/E1 DSU/CSUs, the Data, Voice and Video capable FastComm wide area networking products are the best value available to customers today.

"We're pleased to announce the certification of our product suite for use on the BT/Concert Frame Service," stated Peter Madsen, President of FastComm. "Our goal is universal availability of our FRAD and router products, and the ability of our customers to use BT/Concert services in North America and abroad bolsters our global push!"
