Saw the article a couple of days ago but quit reading after the first few paragraphs because of his sensational approach to nosocomial pneumonias.

Thanks for posting it, and on a quick first read I agree that his description of the anomalies in our Healthcare system is spot on, and highly recommended. His solution, however, is indeed very utopian and may well have worked if it had started out that way

advocating what I think is the current Republican line from those who actually have a line and aren't just spewing "death panel" BS

I think the Republicans would oppose this plan as it undermines most of the entrenched vested interests, and in any case the 'deathers' appear to be the mainstream now. I saw where poor Johnny Isakson distanced himself from the statements he made in the interview with Ezra Klein so as to not upset the base - I'm sure it's been posted here already, if not I'll link it later; have to run now.
