I'm glad this sordid tale is finally coming to a close. I still regret ever having laid eyes on this company but I learned a valuable and hard lesson about arrogance in thinking I understood what was going on with a company when I really had no clue. I also learned a lesson about taking big financial risks; namely that my tolerance for such things wasn't as great as I had anticipated. Another thing I learned is that group reinforcement via message boards discussing a particular stock can lead to delusions and false hope. Not that I didn't enjoy talking to a lot of people on these boards but it's not really conducive to making rational decisions (for me personally). Hearing only those who agree with your established opinions just reinforces those opinions and makes it difficult to change direction when circumstances change. Stocks and companies are not eternal truths, they are like leaves in the wind... Some are definitely stronger than others but none of them are invulnerable.

I hope everyone who had losses is able to recover from them. I'll have many years of capital gains write offs to remind me of my failure but some day it will be ancient history.

Oh and I hope the scumbags involved in perpetrating this scheme get taken down. Sometimes it takes awhile but the law will catch up with them.
