Rachel Maddow covered both Palin's and Gingrich's prior comments on the wisdom of end of life planning and counseling last night. It was both hilarious and disgusting to watch. Palin's proclamation advocates counseling not just by doctors but by anyone involved with the sick or elderly. Really, all section 1233 is recommending reimbursement to physicians for doing exactly what Palin wanted. Though this proclamation is now deleted from the Alaska governor’s website I wonder when it disappeared? Can she make a bigger fool of herself?
