The problem, of course, is knowing who should receive what tests.

If you know a person has a predisposition to one disease or another, then preventive care may be cost effective.

But the Obama claim that just getting people -- most of whom are healthy -- in the door for preventive exams (with a slathering of medical tests) is an outlandish lie and they know it.

Which is the reason the CBO has stated as much.

Again, if you want to argue that people benefit from it, fine. I'll agree with that.

But to claim it saves money over what we now do is just a lie.
