I think they need to work out the author compensation issue on devices like the Kindle. I've heard that authors get peanuts, if anything. That ain't right.

However, if the authors can get a fair cut, this technology could make the publishing industry explode with new material that never made it to print because publishers didn't want to invest the typesetting and printing on paper.

While I was gone on lookout duty at 8944 feet above sea level, I read "The Hard Way" by Mark Jenkins. This is a collection of adventure stories that really inspired me to pursue the outdoor life. I recommend it.
