TO ALL IS INTEL OVERVALUED AT 80 DOLLARS PER SHARE ? BASED UPON THE FOLLOWING IT PROBABLY IS !
1) Earnings decreasing this year -defintely not on an upward trend - should be down in fourth qtr due to decrease sales in flash memory market
2) DEC settlement - evidently INTEL did not tell the truth or why did we pay 700 million dollars in extortion ?
3) Management does not seem to be able to relay their strategy to WALL STREET - no reference to T.K.- he is not the only analyst that is negative on the company - as shareholders this is a responsibility of every company management to do this well
4) Press releases this summer have been very ambigious at best - very poor distribuition of information for a twenty five billion dollar company
5) Why does the company need 11 billion dollars of cash in the bank ? Why not buy back shares if they cannot find a better buy in the market ? A 5% money market is a very poor return
6) PII marketing campaign is very sad - the only thing my son likes is the cool van but this does not sell computers !
7) Very poor anticipation of the ramp up of MMX thIs year - started the company behind the eight ball and defintely effected earnings with the disposal of the classic pentium

ISSUES
1) Sub 1000-pc - how is the company addressing this market ?
2) MERCED a positive -but a year and a half away from effecting earnings
3) What is going to drive earning until then to increase shareholder value ?

I have own the stock for the past two years and presently own 6000 INTCW - just looking for answers for what is going to make INTEL grow ? Something has change in the last six months with INTEL and the company doe not seems to be operating on all cylinders ?The real value of the stock should be 68 dollars per share based upon a P/E of 15 and 3.83 per share and declining earnings.

Looking for some honest feedback on what is going to make the earnings and stock grow in 1998

BEST WISHES
BILL
