Ok, HIV-positive means they found some antibodies and then say the guy has AIDS. There are no virus there and the guy is already labelled.
Yes, but you don't distinguish between HIV+ status and AIDS. A person can be positive but not suffer from the disease, yet. If untreated, the condition will with 99.9999% certainty progress to AIDS, which is invariably fatal. How long will it take? Who knows, some cases progress more rapidly than others. I think it depends on the individual, the status of his immune system, the care he has taken, his general health, etc.
You should have listened to the German doctors more carefully.
The antibodies are there for a reason. And the reason is the presence of HIV. If the antibodies are present, so is the virus. There is a 100% correlation.
If you had a Nigerian girlfriend and had unprotected sex, you should be tested. ASAP. Given advances in the field, being HIV+ is no longer a death sentence. Just horribly expensive. Big evil American pharma to the rescue.
Of course, you know better than anyone else so you will probably ignore this sage advice. |
