I have correctly pointed out that Obama is LYING when he claims that preventative care, as any broad measure, saves money. It does NOT, this is a known fact, and it is indisputable amongst well-informed individuals.

I obviously believe in it as being a good thing from a HEALTH perspective. I go and get my physical every year. It would be great if our country could afford to provide free preventive care for everyone in the country. It would take what is already far and away the best health care system in the world and make it that much better.

The reality is that because our government has failed in setting priorities, we cannot afford to do it. Sorry. We just don't have the money. Imagine had Obama not foolishly wasted nearly a trillion dollars at the beginning of this year? You could do a lot, even with just the 100M/day in interest off that money.

But he didn't make the prudent choice. Instead, he blew $800B -- the most pork-ridden piece of crap legislation in our history -- and now, we are that much less able to afford the other stuff he wants.

Preventive care is great. But it doesn't save money. That is one more liberal lie.
