Gib, Helen Clark is clearly responsible for nearly all problems after 9 years of totalitarian power. I suppose at some stage her influence will wane, but for now, the carnage is almost totally her fault.

<responsibility for almost everything you don't like in NZ can be laid at the feet of Helen Clark>

One good thing I can write about her is that she did NOT inflict CO2 limits on NZ [though she tried, but Rodney Hide [an actual environmentalist, not a religious one] was able to stop that MADness by persuading John Key that it was ridiculous]. NZ's world class per capita output of CO2 is not much to do with her. Output would be better if she hadn't debilitated the economy so much.

In fairness to Helen, it's really the electorate's fault, not her's. It's a bit like Germany voted Adolf into power so they shouldn't be surprised when he did what he said he'd do. It's unfair to blame a pit bull terrier for being a pit bull terrier if he is put in charge of minding children in a kindergarten. The electorate got what they deserved, good and hard.
