Notice this market has been going sideways for nearly four hours in a very narrow trading range.

Market drops at the open, (about the only down we ever see these days), then MM’s lock at the bid loading up all the sellers shares. Hours at a time the indexes barely move then the MM’s bell rings and they start bidding the market up so they can unload those shares. Of course they need to drop the indexes a bit first to take out limit orders underneath
.
They need to come up with another name for it. Market it is not.
Sitting here watching this foolishness is going to kill me.
