Builders' confidence inches higher in August

I'm hearing that things are really soft on the consumer side... then again it is August so not entirely unexpected. Better start to pick up in 3 or 4 weeks.

I am hearing back to school is terrible. I think the next couple of months will determine if we double dip. The good news is that Japan, Germany and France have all come out of recession.

On a different note, I going to be pissed if I have to buy my BAC stock back at the same price I sold it, or God forbid, at a higher price. The stock refuses to come down.
