Of course the legislation doesn't call it "life or death" decisions. They would never be that up front about it. But these committees will decide which treatments Medicare will pay for and which they won't. That is clear. Otherwise, what is the point for their existence?

This is the difference between you and me. I've SEEN Medicare deny payments for treatments that could have saved lives, even now. Once this is codified by having a commission to make the decisions, the problem will only get worse.
