I don't think so. Check this article about US West already deploying Pairgrain hardware and dumping Ascend hardware. Rockwell has a history of yaking about something new way before they actually have it. For example 56K, they announced it a month before USR yet are still fumbling around trying to get it tuned in. telechoice.com
