Obama should have been working this from Day 1, not palming it off to Congress to work out.

In my town a non-profit hospital was recently sold to a for-profit corporation, which is trying to contain costs by, among other things, charging employees a 10% surcharge fee if the choose to go to another facility for services available at the hospital that employs them. Duh? What's wrong with eating your own cooking?

The employees are up in arms, screaming and signs are out all over "PATIENTS BEFORE PROFITS!!!". Talked to some - they're against Obama's proposals. They don't want the government involved! Unbelievable. They just don't get it.


National health is a security issue and is our right.
