i believe that you are correct that most americans would agree to a socialized health care if they believed that it was properly designed and cut out the middle men. however, i don't believe that any socialized health care could be properly designed. the reason i believe that is that it violates principles that i believe in. however, you could still be right as principles do get revised in the face of evidence and proof of a better principle. but i would need to see the plan and believe that it would work, which would be highly doubtful for me.
