There's no ignorance quite like willful ignorance." I find your post interesting. Lying or "misleading statements" are normal political strategy. It is not unique to either party. From my perspective I can say that all of the scare tactics over Global Warming fit this category. Next - by many it is embraced as gospel - is it willful ignorance? Then there is what I am coming to see as thematic lies of the Obama administration as in only the top 2% will pay for all and if you like your plan you can keep it. Political rhetoric of each side is standard practice. Where one side sees the other as having willful ignorance the other sees a true religion. Until we demand honesty from government we will get more of the same and it will be what we deserve.
