More acid... CO2 + H2O -> H2CO3 -> H+ + HCO3-

More acid is a relative term, depending on the system. In chemistry, neutral is pH 7.0 ; acid below that. In the human body, normal is 7.4, +/- 0.05. 7.3 is considered acid; 7.0 is close to life threatening acidic.

For the ocean, the norm was about 8.2, now becoming slightly acidic, relative to baseline.
Between 1751 and 1994 surface ocean pH is estimated to have decreased from approximately 8.179 to 8.104 (a change of -0.075).[2][3]
