Hi Jon, Great article and it I may have electronic access to a very nice piece developed for a monthly mag..... several months ago to highlight the insane headlong rush into investment banking by half the people in Iceland. I know my former boss at BFL was highly intrigued by the 8+ percent time deposit yields denominated in the Icelandic Krona.. these were offered by Stanford...... yes the empire of Allan Stanford that crashed with just a touch less aplomb of Bernie Madoff's multiyear machinations. those yields were available in 2006 and early 2007. Let me look for the VF article. John
