I think they have given up, 100% on getting any Republican support. Sometimes I think the best thing, politically, for the Dems would be to fail and walk away. Then the health system and the uninsured would belong, 100%, to the Republicans. Regardless of what we do our health care system is going to be a mess for a long time...
