I agree with you. However I was talking only about Java Development tools. I was a UNIX developer for a little over 4 years prior to 87-88 and therefore I think because of having not done any real development work on UNIX for more than 10 years now, I was just thinking in terms of PC desktop and under Windows OS. I sincerely hope Java Workshop 3.0 (whenever it comes out) is better than 2.0. I really wanted to order Workshop 2.0 for my group but its lack of ease of use made us go with Symantec's Visual Cafe, and also Borland's JBuilder instead. But to be honest my first choice was J++ but because of it being Microsoft only Java (!) and lack of support of JDK 1.1 we ended up going with JBuilder (which incidetnly is a memory hog)! Anyway....
