The urgent need for government to take over the housing and shelter industries:

Look how much Americans spend in this area. Consider the rampant inequality. Some are homeless, some are crowded into cramped apartments, some enjoy spacious private homes with pools and hot tubs.

And worst of all there are so many housing profiteers - landlords, building contractors, mortgage lenders, villainous home insurance providers. Evil-mongers all of them. Why should something so basic as shelter be something people make money off of. And just think of all the wasteful administrative costs associated with all those private property owners, insurance companies, and so on.

Let me perfectly clear. If you like your present home, you can keep it. (For 1 to 5 years at least, before your home is enrolled in the Public Housing Option.)

Once you realize the government needs to get involved and drive out the waste and profit and ensure basic shelter coverage for all, the rest is a no-brainer.
