Addi specifically criticized Java Workshop 2.0 for lacking the
"basics of being a real Java Development environment" and as a
specific instance it does not have the "intelligence to figure out
the dependencies" which he thinks is the "first thing a JDE must
have".

Now I am not sure exactly what all that means :-), but are you
denying that is a valid criticism ? If you are implying that
it might be in the next("3.0") release...then the criticism holds :-)

I have also heard that Microsoft support for developers as one
of their strengths and Sun needs to compete with them on all
fronts including doing analysis of competetive products on the
market. Sun can market its differentiators and strengths, but
should pay attention to strengths of the competition too.
