Of course. No R would support sweeping legislation like this without a bipartisan effort.


Up until yesterday, Rs were saying they were not supporting ANY reform. That means no bipartisan support. Comprendez?

This is not some rinky-dink tax cut bill. This is 1/6 of the economy.

If it were uprooted -- against the wishes of most Americans (and most Americans are opposed to it) -- and without some kind of bipartisan vote, it would be political suicide.

The Ds are bluffing. They know they CANNOT do it, but more importantly, they know if they did it would leave Obama as a lame duck a year from now. Which may happen either way.


Obama will be president until 2016.
