Not really because it would've led into a more in-depth exchange, if not with you, with someone who felt the same way, and I'd eventually have had to give that explanation again. Though in all fairness, I'm pretty sure that's the first time anyone asked since the first time I bought it. And it does highlight what I consider an enormous advantage being in this particular line of work on the internet. My customer base is comprised mmostly of people who know what's what when it comes to business and long-term viability. When I bought it in 03, quite a few paid lifetime members suggested I expire the lifetime accounts. They knew it had to be some huge aviary chunk the site was carrying and they thought it'd be best to either drag another $199.95 out of the pockets of lifers, themselves included, or do away with the existing lifetime accounts and revert them to a recurring type. And I have no doubt that would've resulted in pretty substantial dollars, but I kinda like being liked, too, and was sure I could come up with another way to reach into their pockets that they wouldn't mind.
