I have a sample Value Line report here, and I note with disappointment (I guess I misunderstood) that Value Line does not give any numbers for FREE cash flow -- only for "cash flow" (why does VL use quotation marks?), which I presume means operating cash flow (net income plus depreciation, amortization, and deferred taxes).

Are you simply subtracting the "capital spending per share"item to get your free cash flow number? And how does Value Line come up with its number for next year's capital spending?
