Hi Frank,

Thanks for the background and insight on this. I've done a little more exploration of the NXTG street markings and it appears they led to lamppost-mounted wireless radios.

I'm guessing this is the municipal wireless system, but am not 100% certain of that. DoITT issued an RFP for poletop wireless back in 2004.
