What is inaccurate with these comments...? The government is not going to bail out consumers Banks would not want them to for reasons stated. Moreover Japan tried to induce inflation for years and failed. You ignore consumer psychology as well. There are numerous real and practical limitations as what the Fed and Congress are willing to do. Mish
