CDSL

thanks for posting the rockwell info...
Had seen references to the press release, but hadn't thought about the potential connection to orctf... sounds plausible... (and important if true)

Have not been paying as much attention to orctf hdsl as is warranted....
Know nothing of their current hdsl silicon...
or future plans

Last conference call izhak said:
starting new generation hdsl chipset, 1 year to market... (no names)...
orctf in last stages of evaluating hdsl direction (hdsl 2 or other...). "Development activity quite advanced...in the near future we will say.. what we are doing in this area."

but nothing for 3 mo...
orctf is working with someone on significant new hdsl silicon, but unannounced ...
adsl/fujitsu and vdsl/harris have been announced (and look promising+)
but hdsl...?
last info was brooktree...
(but at least a generation prior to brooktree's current)
Brooktree's current hdsl silicon: "March 31, 1997 ...industry's first single-chip HDSL (High-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Loop) modem....The Bt8970..."
Is this orctf?
Do you know if orctf is still working with brooktree?

and what about today's volume?? some have heard something...

best wishes
