Health-care is rationed now. It's rationed by insurers. And it's rationed down to zero for those who don't have insurance.

Every resource is rationed, one way or another. This is just an example of bringing up a scary word just to scare an audience.

You can't trust the government

Definitely, but that doesn't mean we don't use it to provide services. Government runs our military, Medicare, Social Security, VA Hospitals police & fire protection etc ... should we get rid of them all, because we don't trust govt?

Plus, every other western democracy has universal health care, and we don't. I spend a lot of time in Australia and New Zealand, and their health care systems beats ours hands-down. Just a simple fact. And I don't see them turning into communist hell-holes as a result. But some Americans seem to think the US is uniquely impaired and can't meet that standard.
