This market climate feels like a bear trap... major players making their books look better... everyones happy...!!! Feeling of being unreal.... public mystified as to why...? However, you may remember the climate in 1987... After the big crash... it climbed to the 50% retracement at 277 spx, settled out and finally broke out Jan 1989 following a lower tine until August 1990 at about 370 Public felt the same... and this might turnout to be the same..? In any case, I'm out for the next few weeks... they can have a few hundred points... In 2003 we saw a better "W" base... which we don't have yet in todays market. stockcharts.com
