Health care is a societal burden whether it is privatised or socialized.

I get messages on my phone from nursing associations who tell me my insurance pays for their services, which are largely educational support.

I don't return the calls because I am educated on healthy living and it concerns me that this may be a common expense running up our health care costs. I've checked with a few other people and it seems to be common.

On the other hand it seems any comprehensive plan for health care should include provisions which reward patients who take positive steps to improve their health, or steps to reduce risks.
